হে বনী-ইসরাঈলগণ! তোমরা স্মরণ কর আমার অনুগ্রহের কথা, যা আমি তোমাদের উপর করেছি এবং (স্মরণ কর) সে বিষয়টি যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে উচ্চমর্যাদা দান করেছি সমগ্র বিশ্বের উপর।
O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you to the ’Alamîn (mankind and jinns) (of your time period, in the past).
يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Ya banee isra-eela othkuroo niAAmatiya allatee anAAamtu AAalaykum waannee faddaltukum AAala alAAalameena
YUSUFALI: Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and that I preferred you to all other (for My Message).
PICKTHAL: O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures.
SHAKIR: O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and that I made you excel the nations.
KHALIFA: O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and that I blessed you more than any other people.

৬২। আয়াত [২ : ৪০]-তে আল্লাহ্ ইসরাঈলীদের বলেছেন যে, তিনি তাদের বিশেষ নেয়ামত দান করেছেন। উপরিউক্ত আয়াতে সামগ্রিকভাবে নেয়ামতসমূহ বা আল্লাহ্র দানসমূহের (Gift) কথা বলা হয়েছে। কিন্তু এখানে অনেক নেয়ামতের মধ্যে বিশেষভাবে একটি নেয়ামতের কথা বলা হয়েছে। ইহুদীদের ইতিহাস বলে আল্লাহ্ ইহুদীদের বিশেষ ক্ষেত্রে বিশ্ববাসীর উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছেন।
