পলায়ন করো না এবং ফিরে এস, যেখানে তোমরা বিলাসিতায় মত্ত ছিলে ও তোমাদের আবাসগৃহে; সম্ভবত; কেউ তোমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করবে।
Flee not, but return to that wherein you lived a luxurious life, and to your homes, in order that you may be questioned.
لَا تَرْكُضُوا وَارْجِعُوا إِلَى مَا أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَاكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْأَلُونَ
La tarkudoo wairjiAAoo ila ma otriftum feehi wamasakinikum laAAallakum tus-aloona
YUSUFALI: Flee not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes in order that ye may be called to account.
PICKTHAL: (But it was said unto them): Flee not, but return to that (existence) which emasculated you and to your dwellings, that ye may be questioned.
SHAKIR: Do not fly (now) and come back to what you were made to lead easy lives in and to your dwellings, haply you will be questioned.
KHALIFA: Do not run, and come back to your luxuries and your mansions, for you must be held accountable.
১৩। পলাইও না , বরং ফিরে এসো তোমাদের ভোগ সামগ্রীর দিকে এবং তোমাদের আবাসগৃহে, যেনো হিসাব গ্রহণের জন্য তোমাদের ডাকা যেতে পারে ২৬৭৪।
২৬৭৪। পূর্বের টিকা দেখুন। এখানে বলা হয়েছে , ” তোমরা ধারণা করেছিলে যে, তোমাদের আবাসস্থল অত্যন্ত আরামদায়ক ও নিরাপদ। এখন কেন সেখানে ফিরে যাচ্ছ না ? যেখানেই থাক জবাবদিহি তোমাদের অবশ্যই করতে হবে। শাস্তি তোমাদের ভাগ্যলিপি হয়ে দাঁড়াবে – তোমাদের কৃত কর্মের দরুণ।” যখন আর অনুতাপ করার জন্য কোন সময় থাকবে না ; পাপীরা তখন হৃদয়ঙ্গম করবে তাদের অপরাধ। প্রকৃত সত্যকে তারা বুঝতে পারবে। কিন্তু তাদের এই অনুধাবন তাদের অনুতাপের জন্য অনেক দেরী হয়ে যাবে। তখন কোন কিছুই তাদের আল্লাহ্র ক্রোধ থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে না।
