আমি তাদেরকে এমন দেহ বিশিষ্ট করিনি যে, তারা খাদ্য ভক্ষণ করত না এবং তারা চিরস্থায়ীও ছিল না।
And We did not create them (the Messengers, with) bodies that ate not food, nor were they immortals,
وَمَا جَعَلْنَاهُمْ جَسَدًا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَمَا كَانُوا خَالِدِينَ
Wama jaAAalnahum jasadan la ya/kuloona alttaAAama wama kanoo khalideena
YUSUFALI: Nor did We give them bodies that ate no food, nor were they exempt from death.
PICKTHAL: We gave them not bodies that would not eat food, nor were they immortals.
SHAKIR: And We did not make them bodies not eating the food, and they were not to abide (forever).
KHALIFA: We did not give them bodies that did not eat, nor were they immortal.
০৮। আমি তাদের এমন কোন শরীর দিই নাই যা আহার গ্রহণ করবে না, অথবা তারা মৃত্যু থেকেও অব্যহতি পাবে না ২৬৭১।
২৬৭১। সাধারণ মানুষের শারীরিক যে চাহিদা ,নবী রসুলদের ছিলো সেই একই চাহিদা। কারণ তারাও ছিলেন শারীরিক দিক থেকে সাধারণ মানুষ। তারা খাদ্য ও পানীয় গ্রহণ করতেন এবং তারাও ছিলেন মৃত্যুর আয়ত্তাধীন।
