বিষয়েন্দ্রিয়সংয়োগাদ্যত্তদগ্রেঽমৃতোপমম্ ।
পরিণামে বিষমিব তত্সুখং রাজসং স্মৃতম্ ॥ ১৮-৩৮॥

বিষয় = of the objects of the senses
ইন্দ্রিয় = and the senses
সংয়োগাত্ = from the combination
য়ত্ = which
তত্ = that
অগ্রে = in the beginning
অমৃতোপমং = just like nectar
পরিণামে = at the end
বিষমিব = like poison
তত্ = that
সুখং = happiness
রাজসং = in the mode of passion
স্মৃতং = is considered.
