য়ত্তদগ্রে বিষমিব পরিণামেঽমৃতোপমম্ ।
তত্সুখং সাত্ত্বিকং প্রোক্তমাত্মবুদ্ধিপ্রসাদজম্ ॥ ১৮-৩৭॥

অগ্রে = in the beginning
বিষমিব = like poison
পরিণামে = at the end
অমৃত = nectar
উপমং = compared to
তত্ = that
সুখং = happiness
সাত্ত্বিকং = in the mode of goodness
প্রোক্তং = is said
আত্ম = in the self
বুদ্ধি = of intelligence
প্রসাদজং = born of the satisfaction.
