রসোঽহমপ্সু কৌন্তেয় প্রভাস্মি শশিসূর্যয়োঃ ।
প্রণবঃ সর্ববেদেষু শব্দঃ খে পৌরুষং নৃষু ॥ ৭-৮॥

রসঃ = taste
অহং = I
অপ্সু = in water
কৌন্তেয় = O son of Kunti
প্রভা = the light
অস্মি = I am
শশিসূর্যয়োঃ = of the moon and the sun
প্রণবঃ = the three letters a-u-m
সর্ব = in all
বেদেষু = the Vedas
শব্দঃ = sound vibration
খে = in the ether
পৌরুষং = ability
নৃষু = in men.
