বন্ধুরাত্মাত্মনস্তস্য য়েনাত্মৈবাত্মনা জিতঃ ।
অনাত্মনস্তু শত্রুত্বে বর্তেতাত্মৈব শত্রুবত্ ॥ ৬-৬॥

বন্ধুঃ = friend
আত্মা = the mind
আত্মনঃ = of the living entity
তস্য = of him
য়েন = by whom
আত্মা = the mind
এব = certainly
আত্মনা = by the living entity
জিতঃ = conquered
অনাত্মনঃ = of one who has failed to control the mind
তু = but
শত্রুত্বে = because of enmity
বর্তেত = remains
আত্মৈব = the very mind
শত্রুবত্ = as an enemy.
