শ্রীভগবানুবাচ ।
সংন্যাসঃ কর্ময়োগশ্চ নিঃশ্রেয়সকরাবুভৌ ।
তয়োস্তু কর্মসংন্যাসাত্কর্ময়োগো বিশিষ্যতে ॥ ৫-২॥

শ্রীভগবানুবাচ = the Personality of Godhead said
সংন্যাসঃ = renunciation of work
কর্ময়োগঃ = work in devotion
চ = also
নিঃশ্রেয়সকরৌ = leading to the path of liberation
উভৌ = both
তয়োঃ = of the two
তু = but
কর্মসংন্যাসাত্ = in comparison to the renunciation of fruitive work
কর্ময়োগঃ = work in devotion
বিশিষ্যতে = is better.
