অন্নাদ্ভবন্তি ভূতানি পর্জন্যাদন্নসম্ভবঃ ।
য়জ্ঞাদ্ভবতি পর্জন্যো য়জ্ঞঃ কর্মসমুদ্ভবঃ ॥ ৩-১৪॥
অন্নাত্ = from grains
ভবন্তি = grow
ভূতানি = the material bodies
পর্জন্যাত্ = from rains
অন্ন = of food grains
সম্ভবঃ = production
য়জ্ঞাত্ = from the performance of sacrifice
ভবতি = becomes possible
