জাতস্য হি ধ্রুবো মৃত্যুর্ধ্রুবং জন্ম মৃতস্য চ ।
তস্মাদপরিহার্যেঽর্থে ন ত্বং শোচিতুমর্হসি ॥ ২-২৭॥
জাতস্য = of one who has taken his birth
হি = certainly
ধ্রুবঃ = a fact
মৃত্যুঃ = death
ধ্রুবং = it is also a fact
জন্ম = birth
মৃতস্য = of the dead
চ = also
তস্মাত্ = therefore
অপরিহার্যে = of that which is unavoidable
অর্থে = in the matter
ন = do not
ত্বং = you
শোচিতুং = to lament
অর্হসি = deserve.
