তমুবাচ হৃষীকেশঃ প্রহসন্নিব ভারত ।
সেনয়োরুভয়োর্মধ্যে বিষীদন্তমিদং বচঃ ॥ ২-১০॥

তং = unto him
উবাচ = said
হৃষীকেশঃ = the master of the senses, KRiShNa
প্রহসন্ = smiling
ইব = like that
ভারত = O Dhritarashtra, descendant of Bharata
সেনয়োঃ = of the armies
উভয়োঃ = of both parties

বিষীদন্তং = unto the lamenting one
