পাঞ্চজন্যং হৃষীকেশো দেবদত্তং ধনঞ্জয়ঃ ।
পৌণ্ড্রং দধ্মৌ মহাশঙ্খং ভীমকর্মা বৃকোদরঃ ॥ ১-১৫॥
অনন্তবিজয়ং রাজা কুন্তীপুত্রো য়ুধিষ্ঠিরঃ ।
নকুলঃ সহদেবশ্চ সুঘোষমণিপুষ্পকৌ ॥ ১-১৬॥
কাশ্যশ্চ পরমেষ্বাসঃ শিখণ্ডী চ মহারথঃ ।
ধৃষ্টদ্যুম্নো বিরাটশ্চ সাত্যকিশ্চাপরাজিতঃ ॥ ১-১৭॥
দ্রুপদো দ্রৌপদেয়াশ্চ সর্বশঃ পৃথিবীপতে ।
সৌভদ্রশ্চ মহাবাহুঃ শঙ্খান্দধ্মুঃ পৃথক্পৃথক্ ॥ ১-১৮॥

পাঞ্চজন্যং = the conchshell named Pancajanya
হৃষীকেশঃ = Hrsikesa (KRiShNa, the Lord who directs the senses of the devotees)
দেবদত্তং = the conchshell named Devadatta
ধনঞ্জয়ঃ = Dhananjaya (Arjuna, the winner of wealth)
পৌণ্ড্রং = the conch named Paundra
দধ্মৌ = blew
মহাশঙ্খং = the terrific conchshell
ভীমকর্মা = one who performs herculean tasks
বৃকোদরঃ = the voracious eater (Bhima).

অনন্তবিজয়ং = the conch named Ananta-vijaya
রাজা = the king
কুন্তীপুত্রঃ = the son of Kunti
য়ুধিষ্ঠিরঃ = Yudhisthira
নকুলঃ = Nakula
সহদেবঃ = Sahadeva
